This production was awarded Best Play by Theatre Weekly, and received funding from the Keep it Fringe award, the International Cultural Exchange (Arts Council Malta) award, the Janatha Stubbs foundation and the David Buckland trust, making its debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, possible. The show’s run in Edinburgh saw a collaboration with Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs, where £395 was raised for the charity. In Malta, the show’s run saw a collaboration with Agenzija Sedqa, where a Q&A post each performance was held shedding light on local resources available to families affected by a loved one’s substance use. In London, the show’s three-week run saw a collaboration with Alcohol Change UK, where £595 was raise for the charity, alongside the facilitation of two Q&As with representatives from Alcohol Change UK post-performance.
